Dress in layers — weather in Yellowstone can change quickly. Wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes with good grip. If you’re unsure about conditions, call us before your trip.

On full-day tours, we provide lunch, drinks, and snacks. Because some tours begin early, you may want to eat breakfast beforehand or bring something light. Let us know if you have dietary restrictions.

Our tours are suitable for all ages since every trip is private. We tailor the pace and activities to fit your group, whether you’re traveling with young children, teens, or grandparents. Families especially enjoy the flexibility of private tours designed just for them.

We cannot guarantee a bear sighting, but we maximize your chances. Our tours begin early — during cooler mornings when wildlife is more active. Ask us which time of year is best for bear sightings, and we’ll help plan for it.

Yellowstone is huge, so you’ll spend some time driving. Expect to cover ~100 miles a day. However, our guides aim to maximize time out of the vehicle — walking geyser basins, short hikes, and wildlife viewing whenever possible.

Yes. Since all of our tours are private, we tailor the day to your family’s interests — whether that’s more time with wildlife, geysers, hiking, or scenic overlooks. On the morning of your tour, your guide will review the plan with you and adjust the route based on what you want to see and experience.

We recommend bringing a camera, sunscreen, layers of clothing for changing weather, and sturdy shoes for walking on varied terrain. We provide binoculars, a spotting scope, drinks, snacks, and lunch, so you can focus on enjoying the day.

Our Yellowstone tours typically last 7–8 hours. Grand Teton tours often run 9–10 hours. Private tours can be customized if you’d like more or less time — just ask us!
