Fall Wildlife Photo Workshop
October 13-17th, 2026
Join Adam Brubaker on what will be an unforgettable trip to Yellowstone during the fall in Yellowstone. As crowds start to fade in Yellowstone the wildlife becomes more active before the arrival of winter. This is a great time of year to photograph owls, bears, bison, elk, wolves, and many other species that call Yellowstone home.
October 13 – Arrive at the Best Western in West Yellowstone by 2 PM, check-inn then we’ll head into Yellowstone for an evening photography session.
October 14-16 – Spend three full days exploring Yellowstone in search of Great Gray Owls, bears, wolves, elk, bison, and other wildlife. Whiles these species are our focus they are never guaranteed, we will take other opportunities as they arrive.
October 17 – Enjoy a final half-day in the park before returning to the hotel for departure. We will plan on returning to West Yellowstone before 1pm.
Daily Schedule – Due to the length of each day, we may not spend the entire day in the park and will take breaks as needed.
Physical Requirements – Participants should be prepared to walk up to 1 mile one way on uneven terrain in pursuit of wildlife.
This is primarily a wildlife photo workshop meaning the focus will be looking for and photographing wildlife. As wildlife is wild we do not guarantee any sighting and will take advantage of other photographic opportunities as needed. Typically you don’t have to travel too far from the road for good photographic opportunities but as circumstances arrive we may spend a little time hiking.
