Sadly that is a question that we cannot answer until we see one. We do, do everything we can to increase your chances of seeing a bear. Our trips start a little earlier than most in order to be out in the cool mornings when wildlife is most abundant. You best chance at seeing a bear is to signup for a wildlife tour or signup for a private tour and start early and stay late. Please contact us for information about what time of the year is best for bears and how we can help you see a bear.

Due to the size of Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks you can expect spend some time inside of the vehicle. At the very minimum you can expect be covering about a hundred miles in a day. This being said we do spend a good amount of time out of the car, walking geyser basins, searching for wildlife, and going for short walks. Our goal is to get you out of the vehicle as much as possible the guide would prefer to be out of the vehicle just as much as you.
