This morning we had our first real encounter with baboons. We have a few from a distance or have heard the alarm calls from the trees. Today we had a troop of baboons walking right down the road towards us. As we stopped they meandered along the road and in the trees. Bad news is I am trying to recover all my photos from tonights game drive (3 week old lion cubs, 4 month old leopard). Looks like I may be able to get them back time will tell. For those who have not noticed I am currently not

For those who have not noticed I am currently not in Yellowstone. I am in South Africa on a safari with my wife checking out an area that I want to share with people again next year.

It is only day 1, well technically it was only a half day and we have seen almost everything. As soon as I got onto the grounds I knew I would have to come back next year. Let me know if you want to join me!
