I have seen one bobcat since this encounter in 2020. Twice I have been in the right area waiting on a hunting bobcat and twice circumstance have not allowed be to stick it out. Heres hoping I don't have to wait too long for another encounter and that the third time is the charm. ⁠

By this time most of these little weasels have their white coats on for the winter. This is one species I always look forward to photographing in the winter for a couple reasons. My first thought goes to the coyote. They have to adapted to almost any habitat in the US. They are one of if not the most vocal animal in the US. Coyotes can run up to 43 mph, faster than a road runner also faster than a wolf. ⁠
